A Year Full of Memories

It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since our last adoption update.

While we've been quiet here, life certainly hasn't slowed down.

This past year has been filled with watching Evan grow from a little boy into a full-fledged farm kid. We've celebrated holidays, made memories on family vacations, spent countless afternoons at the park and swimming pool, and enjoyed so many special moments with family and friends.

We've watched him climb on tractors with excitement, ride through the fields, check cows with Dad, splash through puddles, and discover something new around every corner. Whether he's helping around the farm or simply enjoying the freedom that comes with growing up in the country, it's been a joy to see the world through his eyes.

There have been birthday celebrations, family gatherings, holiday traditions, and ordinary days that have somehow become our favorite memories. The kind of days that remind us how quickly childhood passes and how precious these moments truly are.

As we look back on the past year, we're incredibly grateful for all the experiences we've shared together. At the same time, our hearts continue to hope and pray for the child we're waiting to welcome into our family.

We've often found ourselves imagining another little set of boots running around the farm, another child riding along to check cows, helping in the garden, celebrating holidays, making memories with cousins, and growing up alongside Evan.

Our adoption journey may not have unfolded on the timeline we expected, but one thing remains unchanged: our desire to grow our family through adoption.

So consider this our fresh start.

We're back, and we're excited to share more of our journey, our family, and the everyday moments that make this life so special.
